A pure sequence — three or more consecutive cards of the same suit, no Joker — is mandatory for a valid declaration at jjcom. Without it, you cannot win the round regardless of how good the rest of your hand is. Always prioritise forming this sequence before working on sets or impure sequences.

Your opponents' discards tell a story. If another jjcom player keeps discarding high-value cards — Kings, Queens, Aces — they may be close to declaring. If they're picking from the discard pile, you know what melds they're building. Use this information to block their sequences by holding the cards they need.

Jokers are zero-point cards that can substitute for any card in an impure sequence or set. Never waste a Joker on a sequence that needs only one more natural card — save it for a difficult-to-complete meld or a high-point trap card you cannot otherwise use.

Pakistani players who jump between stake levels — from Rs 100 tables to Rs 2,000 tables on the same session — often mismanage their jjcom wallet.
